The British Council, Kyiv, Ukraine, is recruiting a full-time Teaching Centre Registrar.

Purpose of job:  

As a member of the Teaching Centre Operations team, the post holder contributes to the smooth and efficient operational running of the Teaching Centre by coordinating a range of key administrative tasks, as well as supporting the wider aims of the British Council and its cultural relations mission.   

Main opportunities/challenges for this role:
  • Coordinating administrative tasks with a high degree of accuracy, which maximises operational efficiency.
  • Working independently and collaboratively in seeking to meet the needs of a variety of internal and external stakeholders, each with their own specific concerns and interests.    
  • Providing Line Management to the Teaching Centre Student Relations Assistant.  

Main Accountabilities:
  • Registration and Course Administration  Related. To coordinate a range of tasks using the Teaching Centre Management System (TCMS) and other systems;     
  • Performing the role of the registrar and managing the Teaching Centre Academic Year, courses, classes on TCMS;  
  • Controlling waiting lists, expired reservations and proactively checking for new opportunities to open new classes;
  • Performing monthly, termly, quarterly reconciliations for all Teaching Centre activity as per British Council corporate guidelines; 
  • Identifying and controlling Teaching Centre debtors and creditors in line with relevant British Council policies;
  • Administering for refunds and the processing of other manual adjustments on TCMS and SAP;
  • As designated PO creator for the teaching centre, the post holder will need to be familiar with all policies related to procurement and will action the raising of POs for TC related expenditure in line with those policies.
