ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT/TEAM

British Council Malaysia exams team delivers the well-known International English Language Test (IELTS), School exams (IGCSE and A Levels), Aptis, Professional and Educational exams across the country to the highest security and compliance standards. In 2019, we increased the volume of computer based examinations across the product line. Markets are varied and competition is intense in a number of markets.


By 2020, within East Asia exams we are looking to double our impact, both in terms of exams delivered and income. Malaysia will play a key part in helping East Asia meet its targets working closely across English and Education teams.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AND WHY

Reporting into Examinations Operations Manager, you support the delivery of professional and quality examinations services related to IELTS and UK Qualification exams in Malaysia in line with corporate standards and regulations set by awarding bodies and to provide excellent exam services to customers.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

To be qualified for this role, you will have:

  • Good written and oral communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • First Degree in any discipline
  • Previous experience of administration work/tasks for 24 months
