The British Council is looking for a Finance officer to be based in Algiers. You will support British Council Finance operations in Algeria and make a key contribution to ensuring and maintaining a high level of Finance Control and Compliance in the areas specifically accountable for.
You will assist the Finance Manager in providing assurance to Director Algeria that robust accounting procedures, and complete financial compliance, is in place. You ensure that operational team members are engaged with, and adhere to, the local service level agreements, reflecting the corporate standards. This requires constant and consistent monitoring for which a dedication to customer service excellence and strong relationship building are required.
You will also have good IT skills and be a willing team-worker. You will speak and write well in French, English, and Arabic. This post will suit someone with Finance knowledge .
