Mobility Services supports wider HR and our business functions to manage the mobility of our global network of teachers, consultants, specialists and managers, working with local and Centre of Expertise (COE) HR to help our business make the right decisions about managing our people in global roles and how best to maintain compliance and support our assignees, while they are working across our global organisation.


The Opportunity


As the Senior Mobility Advisor, you will support transformation activities to enable the effective and consistent delivery of Mobility Operations across our network of globally mobile staff.  This will be through the implementation of efficient processes and procedures, as well as new suppliers and technology, to help manage the assignment life-cycle and associated compliance needs. 


You will use your best practice mobility knowledge and experience to work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support complex mobility casework and compliance requirements as well as ongoing review projects. 


You will also support the Mobility Services Process Manager with operations and process optimisation projects.


Main Accountabilities include: 

  • Support mobility transformation, compliance and other integral projects, leading on defined workstreams where required
  • Using best practice mobility knowledge and experience to support complex mobility casework and review assignment documentation
  • Support the Compliance Manager to resolve complex assignment compliance issues in conjunction with the Compliance service provider(s), including supporting review projects
  • Support Mobility Services Process Manager with process optimisation projects and integrating new suppliers
  • Support Mobility Operations Manager, using technical mobility knowledge and experience

What we require of the successful candidate: 

  • You should have demonstrable experience of supporting consistent delivery of global mobility operations including tax, social security and immigration compliance management, policy application and consultation, relocation support, payroll support and reporting
  • You’ll have experience of supporting the delivery of complex projects to deadlines & maintaining relevant tracking documentation
  • You will be used to working with multiple external mobility stakeholders
  • You will have prepared cost estimates and compensation summaries and used them to support stakeholders’ understanding of the cost of the assignment and/or the structure of their assignment compensation
  • You’ll be experienced at proactively supporting international assignees in understanding the assignment life-cycle and set up process and their related responsibilities, while maintaining the related processes and vendor coordination activities
  • You will have lead on annual compensation reviews, including cost of living, location rating and salary/hypothetical tax
  • You will have worked with multiple global mobility policy types and compensation methodologies and their applications
  • You will be used to delivering high quality work as part of a team, in a collaborative, customer-focused and professional environment.
