ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT/TEAM 
The British Council in Yangon is a priority country for the British Council within East Asia. The British Council in Yangon has offices and teaching centres.   The British Council in Yangon employs around 250 staff both local and foreign.  The business sections include Teaching Centres, Examinations, Education, the Arts, and Society.  

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AND WHY
You will provide and maintain an appropriate working environment for staff and visitors which is safe, comfortable, attractive and conductive to efficiency, support and cooperate with Resources Department and related work in British Council, Burma. You will provide day to day office and maintenance works and maintain access control mechanism and install at the premises.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You should bring 1-2 years’ experience in office H&S tasks, maintenance and repair tasks with proven ability to deliver tasks to tight deadlines. It will be desirable if you are familiar with SAP system and have relevant experience in multicultural environments / organisations.
