2-year fixed term contract with the possibility of extension/Sri Lankan citizen or in possession of a valid work visa to work in Sri Lanka/Under our Child Protection agenda, the post-holder is required to obtain a Police Report prior to appointment, clearances on three reference checks, three forms of identification and original qualifications.

We work with over 100 countries across the world in the fields of arts and culture, English language, education and civil society. Each year we reach over 20 million people face-to-face and more than 500 million people online, via broadcasts and publications. 

The overall purpose of this role is to enhance the British Council’s reputation in Sri Lanka as the provider of choice for English medium language and skills training and assessment (UK qualifications). Also, to support the achievement of English SBU business objectives by developing, marketing and delivering high quality courses thereby providing excellent client service.
