WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AND WHY


You will lead the Hong Kong Exams Operations team to ensure effective, efficient delivery of the end to end operational cycle for examinations delivery, from capacity planning to post-test service. You will be responsible for embedding the new operating design and model whilst developing the Operations plan to ensure international examinations are delivered to clients on behalf of the British Council and its partners to the highest standards. You will be accountable for team management, test security, and responsible for customer experience, capacity, contingency, cost, consistency and operational compliance.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

To qualify for this role, you will need:

1. You must possess solid experience of overseeing daily operations in a business environment;

2. You are an experienced leader in managing a large scale commercial business. You will be managing a large exams operations team so solid team management experience and methodology is crucial.

3. You have the demonstrates the ability to sustain and/or grow a product/service in line with strategic priorities

4. You have significant experience in delivering change across a business function. You are pro-active in identifying and landing ways in which exams service can be improved.

University Degree or relevant qualification is highly preferred; insight in risk assessment and management/ contingency planning is highly preferred; experience of leading on delivery of computer-based exams is highly preferred.
