BC Examinations and English Services Pvt Ltd (BCEESIPL) is an Indian commercial entity wholly owned by the British Council, UK. Governed by a Managing Director and Board, BCEESIPL provides a range of services to BC UK in the areas of Examinations and English.

Role Purpose:
The post holder will be responsible to lead the development and execution of the marketing strategy and plans, ensuring local alignment to the global marketing strategy and to work in partnership with the strategic business unit to ensure that English and Exams products and services meet the required business targets.  

Applicants should have Degree or professional qualification in marketing or business, or demonstrable level of equivalent experience.

Key Challenges and Opportunities:

  • To lead the development of the marketing strategy and the marketing plan for the IELTS brand in India,with focus on maintaining and growing market share, whilst ensuring alignment to the global marketingstrategy and brand strategy
  • Work with the global exams team and country team to ensure that country marketing programmesdeliver planned business targets.
  • Develop the capability and capacity of marketing in the organisation by building relevant skillsknowledge and expertise.
  • To ensure the country marketing plan is executed to the highest possible standards to ensure theeffective and integrated delivery of all B2C and B2B marketing activity, maximising market share andROI.
  • To deliver the above in a crowded market place, in the face of better resourced and new competition.
