This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who is well-versed in business management and development within the Education industry to take on the post of Head of Contracts in Singapore.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AND WHY
You will be thrilled to find yourself in leading a diverse team of people delivering a wide range of products and services while managing and growing our Study Camps and Holiday Courses.

You will be developing business opportunities with new and existing audiences and you will be ensuring capacity to deliver ambitious targets.

You will be delivering operational efficiency through the achievement of agreed KPIs.

 

WHAT IS INTERESTING ABOUT IT

This is a challenging and rewarding post with a high level of responsibility that will allow you to use and enhance your experience in business management and development with a highly successful existing product suite, as well as identify and secure new revenue generating English contract opportunities for British Council, Singapore.


You will liaise with senior stakeholders such as CEOs, HR Managers, Heads of schools and government authority representatives in order to build key relationships. 

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

§  You should bring along a relevant professional qualification in English teaching.

§  You shall have strong business development skills and an ability to lead teams with a variety of roles and agendas.

§  You will have strong interpersonal and analytical skills, as well as some experience in financial planning and developing business cases.

§  You shall demonstrate confidence and credibility in a highly visible leadership role and you will be able to maintain strong internal and external relationships with high level contacts.

The Singapore teaching operation is one of the largest in the global network and currently delivers over 70,000 class hours and employs over 200 staff. There are 4 teaching centres across the island (Napier, Tampines, Toa Payoh and Marsiling centres) operating 7 days a week. In addition to part-time adult courses and young-learners enrichment courses, there is a full-time pre-school in the Tampines centre and a Professional Development Centre in Toa Payoh.
