ABOUT THE JOB 

As our next Administrative and Finance Assistant you will provide finance and administrative clerical support to local Finance team, ensuring smooth running of British Council activities and comply with corporate policies and local legislations.


WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE 

You should have experience with finance and/or administrative areas.  Fluency in Portuguese both written and spoken. Ability to operate in English (both written and spoken) at an operational/communicative level (equivalent to IELTS 5 / CEFR B1 or higher.

Brazil is the largest country in Latin America with a population of more than 200 million. As one of the BRICS it is an emerging economy with a growing international profile. The Brazil operation is currently run through two offices (Rio and Sao Paulo).

The finance and administrative assistant postholder is part of the Society team and is expected to actively provide administrative and finance support in relation to the Try Rugby programme, with a focus on all tasks related to the Sport Tax Incentive Law, complying with corporate and local statutory requirements.
