In Hong Kong we work with professionals and policy makers and thousands of young people every year by teaching English, sharing the Arts and delivering education and society programmes.

The British Council is looking to recruit a maximum of four confident and enthusiastic students to take up the following position:

Education UK Student Ambassador

The post holder is to provide support to the Programmes team during the summer months, to co-ordinate and work onsite at various education-related events, provide information to students preparing to study abroad, write informative articles based on personal experience of studying in the UK, take part in media interviews and other work on an ad-hoc basis.

You should have:

        Knowledge and experience of both the UK and Hong Kong education sector, and currently studying at a UK institution

        An interest in public speaking

        Excellent presentation skills

        Fluency in spoken and written English and Cantonese

        All other competencies on the job description

The remuneration package for this position includes a salary of $75 per hour, on a 6-8 weeks contract. First day of work will be on 4 July 2016. Candidates are expected to work during weekend exhibitions and pre-departure briefings (i.e. Saturday 16 July, Sunday 17 July, Saturday 30 July and Saturday 20 August 2016).
