The opportunity:

The successful applicant will support the Knowledge and Engagement Manager to promote and facilitate knowledge management and sharing across Exams Delivery and ensure good engagement with the global Examinations Services business.


The post holder will be responsible for overall support and maintenance of E&E collaboration and document management platforms and knowledge assets, providing help and support to users, creating and configuring new sites and platforms, troubleshooting issues and ensuring compliance within the Knowledge Management framework.


The role will work as part of the Business Improvement Implementation team that provides leadership and change support, working very closely with the rest of the Business Improvement team to build engagement, trust and ‘pull’ for continuous improvement across a varied network of 100+ countries. In particular, this role will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by proactively implementing Knowledge Management best practices to agreed quality standards.



The main challenges and opportunities within this role are:


  • Take proactive part in using Knowledge Management assets that are relevant to the Exams key business priorities
  • Opportunity to add value for the Exams customers by utilising Knowledge Management tools and systems to capture, share and store valuable data
  • Build and maintain effective working relationship with key stakeholders and champion best practice in utilising Knowledge Management tools and systems



What we require of the successful candidate:


  • Degree level qualification or equivalent, preferably in relevant field e.g. Information Science, Business Administration.
  • Demonstrable experience of applying systematic approach to transform disorganized data and to enable knowledge to grow, flow and add value.
  • Good knowledge of Windows10 and Office365 applications
  • Experience of successfully producing and managing Knowledge Assets
  • Demonstrable experience of promoting and championing cutting edge Knowledge Management tools (e.g. mobile apps, enterprise wiki, video etc.)
  • Expertise in using SharePoint/SharePoint Online 2013/2016, Intranet sites, collaboration and document management platforms, and Office365 tools for knowledge management
  • Excellent ability to multi-task and work to strict deadlines
  • Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and manage own deliverables



*Requirements: This role requires frequent contact with colleagues from across the world, including occasional antisocial hours. This role must be based in a location that ensures a minimum 4-5 hours daily overlap with standard UK working hours. The role is therefore open to colleagues based in an established global hub in the following regions: UK, EU, MENA, South Asia. This role will be offered on the basis of a local contract in the country where the successful candidate is based, and is not eligible for mobility reward packages.
