ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT/TEAM

 

The North East Asia Region is of vital importance to the British Council in terms of both the impact and income it generates for the organization. Very significant growth of our work in Exams, Arts, Education & Society activities is central to achieving this ambition and the Koreans have an important role to play in achieving this.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AND WHY

 

You will ensure a high quality and efficient integrated customer service experience for customers meeting all British Council Key Performance Indicators for customer satisfaction. You need to support to the British Council Korea Examinations, Arts, Education & Society activities in answering queries and requests received through phone, email, other online media and face to face and to handle general enquiries on the products and services of British Council Korea office, Exams in particular.

 

WHAT IS INTERESTING ABOUT IT

 

The role will be handling general enquiries and administration tasks. You need to assist IELTS Resource Centre (IRC) and maintain customer services information and promotion. You need to uphold a customer service culture and improve the customer service of online and offline communication channel and the process.

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

 

To be able to qualify for this position, you will need IELTS band 6 or equivalent level and excellent written and oral communication skills. You also need to be a University graduate and your professional degree or certificate in Hospitality is preferred. You should also have competent IT skills and working experience in the customer service area.
