(BCEESIPL) is an Indian commercial entity wholly owned by the British Council,
UK. Governed by a Managing Director and Board, BCEESIPL provides a range of
services to BC UK in the areas of Examinations and English. In 2018-19 BCEESIPL
will deliver 700,000 examinations in English Language assessment and
professional qualifications in 45 cities and 70 venues across India as well as
providing B2C Digital Learning courses, corporate ELT training services and two
major employability skills and assessment projects with State Governments in
Kerala and Andhra Pradesh. BCEESIPL employs 350 staff in 4 offices in Gurgaon,
Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata.
Role Purpose:
The post holder will provide academic
management and delivery to facilitate Business development. This includes
recruiting, managing and developing a team of English and communication skills
trainers, to ensure they deliver the highest quality training; curating and
creating blended and eLearning solutions as per clients’ needs, ensuring
delivery meets client needs as well as British Council quality standards and
ensuring monitoring, evaluation and learning is implemented in all our work.
You will work as a part of the India English team to pursue and deliver
contracts to build the business and meet challenging targets. This is a
challenging but stimulating and enjoyable role.
Applicants should meet the below mentioned essential qualification criteria:
- Graduate
Degree
- Cambridge
CELTA
- Cambridge DELTA or equivalent or commitment to complete the DELTA
within year 1 of being in post (applicants with equivalents should check
validity before proceeding)
Key Challenges and Opportunities:
- Talent management of a geographically dispersed team of
trainers and e-moderators.
- Work closely with the business development team to design
and deliver service solutions that meets the English language learning needs of
clients and customers using digitally enabled solutions.
