British Council Doha is recruiting part-time Local Teachers of English to meet its growth targets. We are looking for suitably experienced and enthusiastic teachers to join our team starting early February 2019.

Please note that this post is open only to candidates who are already located in Qatar.


Essential Requirements:

High level of proficiency in English (equivalent to CEF C2, IELTS 8.5)

First Degree

CELTA or Trinity Certificate TESOL

More than 1600 hours of recent and relevant post-certificate EFL experience in both Adults and YLs


Desirable Requirements:

Diploma (DELTA or Trinity TESOL)

YL extension, DELTA YL specialism, PGCE

IELTS examiner status

Experience in English for Special Purposes (ESP) and/or Teacher Training
