Role purpose  

 To support the Gulf Communications Manager in the implementation of the Gulf Communications strategy by working on online web tools and other digital products (social media, website editing, digital campaign management). Experience in planning and implementing digital and social media campaigns is a must, as well as the ability to produce, write and proofread English and Arabic written content for web and social.
You will be responsible for ensuring that content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, optimized for search, user needs and experience for all channels, including websites, social media, and email templates. Knowledge of and on proactive photo/video content creation for social media is a plus.
 We’re looking for a candidate that knows how to bring our arts, education, science and sports events to life for our digital audiences. Experience of social media strategy development and implementation, as well as strong community management skills and the ability to follow corporate digital and brand guidelines is essential.  
 The ideal candidate will also have a strong grasp of social media ad buying tools, CMS systems (wordpress), knowledge of SEO and social media listening and monitoring tools, as well as good digital project management skills. An understanding of channels, social trends and knowledge of social media influencers across the 6 markets is a plus.
