British Council invites applications for the position of  Invigilator
Duration: 24 months (Fixed term)
Location: Dhaka, Sylhet, Chattogram & Kumilla (Please mention your preferred location in the Supporting statement)

The successful applicant will be expected to:
  • Ensure that exams are conducted according to the relevant UK exam board and British Council requirements and code of conduct.
  • Ensure that any test administered by the British Council runs smoothly on the test day/s and that all assigned test day duties and standards are met
Suitable candidates should have the following experience, qualifications and competencies:
  • Excellent communication skills both in Bangla and English
  • Ability to work in a diverse team and cope with changes and complex situations 
  • Ability to carry out instructions carefully
  • Strong focus in attention to detail
  • Highly committed 
  • Punctual and reliable in duties.
  • Confident to speak up
  • Excellent planning and organising skills.
  • Have the technical know-how to operate basic technology/ computing skills including internet.
  • Highly committed with strong attention-to-detail
  • Ability to work in a way that promotes the safety and well-being of children

Language proficiency:

  • Fluent in both Bangla and English 
  • Short listed candidates may need to sit an English language proficiency test 
Education and Qualification:
  • Studying in or completed graduation from a reputed educational institution 
  • Interested candidates must be the age of 20 and above. 
  • Legally entitled to work in the country

Short listed candidates may need to sit an English language proficiency test.
Successful candidates will be required to submit Police clearance certificate and proof of Educational qualification once selected for the role.
