Recruitment is now open for a Corporates Manager/Lead at MM1 level

This is a unique opportunity to work within our very successful Teaching Centre in a ‘new Sudan’ as it prepares for the first democratic elections in 2022. An exciting new country with a growing market in English teaching and learning and a growing British Council wider programme in support of the new government. These posts require entrepreneurial flair, people management skills and strong project management and organisational skills. 



This middle manager post at MM1, offer a dynamic and challenging work and business environment with strong potential in the Corporates markets. The successful candidate, with Delta or equivalent qualifications, will have solid experience of all aspects of English Language Teaching management and clear evidence of academic achievement and knowledge and business development capability. They will work closely with the Teaching Centre Manager and the regional Business Development Manager for Teaching in SSA to maintain the direction and success of the business, while looking for new opportunities for growth and market leadership. 


Engaging with the academic and teacher quality agenda will be a priority along with building the teacher and trainer cohorts and establishing new approaches and support for CPD. Customer Service standards - throughout the entire Corporates  customer journey, will  also be in focus for strong leadership and support.


There will be team development duties and a close engagement with the regional leadership team will be key success factor.


These posts are high profile. Previous post-holders developed significant, valuable and in-demand skill sets and took full advantage of all the challenges working in Sudan had to offer.
