The British Council, the UK’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities, is now recruiting for a full-time Human Resources Assistant to support the rapidly changing needs of the British Council Ukraine and HR team in the effective delivery of all change programmes across all British Council operations.
This role is expected to bring expert knowledge and contribution into delivery and administration of such changes together with other HR team members to ensure compliance with local legislation and corporate code of practice and guidelines.  

Main opportunities/challenges for this role:
  • Support HR operations for the British Council Ukraine group of companies consisting of 3 legal entities in delivery and administration of change programmes and daily HR activities;
  • Work closely with HR Admin Assistant to ensure compliance with local legislation and corporate guidelines;
  • Find more efficient ways to deliver job duties
Skills, experience and qualifications for the advertised vacancy:


  • English at B2 level
  • Fluent Ukrainian and Russian
  • University degree
  • At least 1 year of experience in HR administration/paperwork
  • Knowledge of Ukrainian labour legislation, HR paperwork system and requirements


  • Work experience in international environment and diverse teams
