ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT/TEAM 

The Kuala Lumpur Teaching Centre is a modern office located in the heart of the city, a 5-minute walk from the iconic Petronas Twin Towers.  This centre is open 7 days a week and serves both Young Learner and Adult students.  Young Learner classes range from Pre-School to Upper Secondary and take place at the weekend. 


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AND WHY
The main duty of a Young Learner Assistant Coordinator is to work with the Senior Teacher Young Learners to recruit, coordinate and supervise Young Learner Assistants, carry out Young Learner Assistant duties as required and to provide support to the academic team and broader Teaching Centre as required.

Support the Senior Teacher Young Learner team (STYLs) to ensure Young Learner Assistant (YLAs) submit pay claims accurately and on time.  Follow up with any issues. Remind parents of pick up / drop off procedures as required. 

As part of the wider Teaching Centre team you will be required to support and assist your colleagues from time to time in tasks that ensure the smooth running of the Centre. This might also include participation at off-site road shows, workshops and other promotional events.
