Pay Band: Teacher / Post Duration: Fixed Term – 12 Months / Eligibility: Must have legal rights to work in the location, please see role profile for additional information/ Location: Sudan/ Deadline for application: 21 February 2020 (23:59 GMT).

Recruitment is now open for  full-time Teachers for our Teaching Centre in Sudan. 


These are unique opportunities to work within our very successful Teaching Centre in a ‘new Sudan’ as it prepares for the first democratic elections in 2022. An exciting new country with a growing market in English teaching and learning and a growing British Council programme in support of the new government. These posts require imagination, innovativeness and resilience. 


This teaching post offers a dynamic and challenging teaching environment working with General English, Corporates and Young Learner students. The successful candidates, preferably with qualifications to Delta level or equivalent, will have solid experience of all aspects of English Language Teaching with clear evidence of academic achievement and knowledge.


There will be evidence of strong interpersonal communication skills - the successful candidate should enjoy people, show enthusiasm and excitement in the classroom, and be positive and sensitive of cultural differences and traditions.


They will work closely with the Teaching Centre Manager and Senior Teachers to ensure high academic and administrative standards are maintained,
