Vacancy Description
To assist the Head of School to provide a world class learning environment for pre-school children in Hong Kong and to ensure a smooth operation of the school. To secure a positive reputation for the British Council amongst both parents and the wider educational community.

About the role

• Contract: Full-time, Indefinite contract

• Reports To: Head, International Pre-School (SCR)Exam Team Leader (If applicable)

• Location: Hong Kong

• Closing Date: 09 December 2018



• Salary: From HKD 14,170 per month

• Annual Leave: 20 days

• Insurance: medical insurance


Responsibilities and Duties

• Coordinate with the Head of School to maintain a positive, safe learning environment for students

• Manage the front desk and all services ensuring that school operational and administrative functions are organised efficiently to meet the needs of the school, staff, students and families

• Manage all building works, maintenance and suppliers, cleaning, grounds maintenance including quality control of contractors work

• Manage emergencies and decide on the best course of action and either dealing with the situation if appropriate or referring it to the Head of School



• Degree: A Bachelor’s Degree in business management or related field

• Experience: At least 2 years’ experience in administration

• Language: Fluent Cantonese and English, and conversational Mandarin

• Characteristics: Ability to work independently; problem-solve, analyse issues and create action plans
