Pay band 4 – Local Grade H – Scale Basic / Gross Salary 20,135.36 euros per annum / 24 months fixed term, with the possibility of extension / advertised internally and externally and open to all staff / Applicants must have the right to live and work in Greece/ Location: Athens, Greece.
British Council in Greece is looking for a dynamic and energetic colleague who would support the team in Greece by implementing the British Council marketing strategy, providing an exceptional support to events, programmes and activities contributing to the overall impact it makes in this market. He/she will work with wider marketing community and local teams in understanding and expanding audiences, markets, and channels of communication, especially digital, by actively managing meaningful engagement with target audiences and customers.

The successful candidate must have among other:  

- Experience in a marketing assistant position at a national level within a medium or large organisation.
- Demonstrable experience of implementing marketing plans.
- Demonstrable experience in managing supplier relationships.
- Strong level of written and spoken Greek (C1 level) and English (C1 level).

Short-listing is carried out against skills and knowledge, qualifications and experience as specified in the person specification section of the Role Profile.  We may also shortlist against desirable competencies if we get a large pool of applications.
