Department: Teaching Centre Pay band: Teacher of English Salary: Senior Teacher Salary scale Contract type: Full Time Teacher Contract length: 2 years Closing date: 14 September, 2017

Essential Requirements:

1st Degree

DELTA or Trinity Diploma in TESOL/Young Learners accredited by the QCA at level 6/7 of the National Qualifications Framework.* Plus 3 to 4 yrs relevant experience.

* MAs in TESOL or related subjects may be considered diploma-level equivalent provided that they meet the required validation, accreditation, teaching practice and input criteria

Sector Expertise in Young

Learner Programme Teaching and Management.

Extensive knowledge of TEYL through substantial work experience in the field and relevant YL qualification*.

Clear evidence of experience of safe planning, organisation and delivery of YL programmes.

Evidence of continual building of professional TEYL profile through keeping abreast of on-going developments in the field.

 *(+ 3 to 4 years relevant experience post professional YL qualification).


Desirable Requirements:

UK based B.Ed/PGCE Primary, B.Ed/PGCE Secondary (+ QTS in case of PGCE) - any subject with required 3/4 years TESOL experience post qualification

Operational Arabic

Experience /good knowledge of EY product learning Time with Shaun and Timmy
