ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT/TEAM

Our teaching centre marketing team in Hong Kong provides strategic direction and marketing activities that support the corporate brand and generate demand for our British Council English courses for children and adults. The Hong Kong English business is not only a significant contributor to our success in East Asia, it is also one of the largest, most dynamic and innovative businesses we have.  It’s an exciting team to be part of!

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AND WHY

You will lead and be accountable for a Hong Kong marketing team of 5 people.   Your role will be to provide insight, strategy, and team leadership that delivers the Hong Kong English team business objectives, in alignment with global and regional strategy. You will also be part of the country management team driving growth of the local business whilst drawing on the regional team for support.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You must have a minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing management, preferably with a focus on digital marketing and people management. You should have good communication skills in both English and Cantonese, strong organizational skills, creativity, and an openness to trying new things and looking at things differently.
