Band: Leaders for Multiple and Fragile Geographies | Three years fixed term contract | If you are required to move from your contractual home location to take up this assignment you will receive mobility support
The purpose of this role is to ensure effective, efficient operation of BCEESIPL responsible for Business and strategic operational planning, overseeing all BCEESIPL business support and global British Council policy implementation  across India. 

The role is also responsible for leading and embedding change/business improvement aligned with Global/Regional strategy and new operating model principles. This position manages the second largest examinations business within British Council and is therefore a crucially important strategic role.

Your key responsibilities in the role will include:
  • Leadership & management
  • Operations and Business Development
  • Risk & compliance 
To apply and be successful in the role, you will need experience of:
  • Managing a large team with some remote working
  • Developing new business products in line with market needs
  • Delivering change across a business function
