ABOUT THE JOB 

As our next Head of English and Education Services you will lead the English and Education services in Argentina for the British Council, focusing on on the following key elements:
  1. To build the portfolio of grant partnerships and programmes that the British Council has in Argentina in higher education, ensuring effective high quality delivery and improved impact.
  2. To build relationships and partnerships with ministries of education, both national and provincial, with a view to developing partnerships that leverage grant spend on a 1-1 target
  3. To develop a pipeline of customers for English and Education services in Higher Education institutions in Argentina using an established portfolio of British Council products.

We will do this by providing policy instruments and quality frameworks for internationalisation, identifying the needs of both countries and individual institutions, facilitating initial links and bringing key stakeholders together to interact.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE JOB
You should have: 

  • Experience in strategic planning and implementation of business growth plans.
  • Proven ability to plan, monitor, implement and evaluate complex projects or programmes.
  • Proven ability to manage human and material resources to maximise business benefits.
  • Experience in supervising project managers, trainers and consultants.
  • Experience in monitoring and evaluating programmes.
  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, International Commerce, International Relations, Education Management or related fields.
  • Spanish at Proficiency Level C2 and English at Proficiency level C1.
